Hi, I’m Emma Stevens FCCA BSc (Hons). I am a qualified accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
I started working in accountancy in 2002, qualified in 2006 and became a fellow of the ACCA in 2011. I’ve worked in a variety of practices from a one partner practice to a Top 50 accounting firm.
About Emma Stevens Accountancy Ltd
I started my own practice, Emma Stevens Accountancy Ltd, in 2011 to provide bespoke accountancy services for small businesses in Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding areas. I wanted to work with people who were looking for a professional to help them with their paperwork and finances and also wanted the personal touch of a small one person accountancy practice.
About Emma Stevens
I’m passionate about helping small businesses and owner managed companies to save time and tax, and I’m an expert at helping clients to untangle their finances, and get them into shape – even when they’ve been a little neglected. If you‘re looking for advice on whether to trade as a limited company or a sole trader, I’m happy to help you come to the right decision for your business.
I specialise in supporting and advising companies of all sizes and types with their business paperwork and financial requirements, including preparation and filing of tax returns, company accounts, VAT returns, processing the payroll, bookkeeping services and more.
I aim to take the mystery out of keeping your accounts looking good, and help small businesses get to grips with the paperwork that can seem a little confusing at times. I offer a friendly and approachable accountancy service…and I’m happy to answer any questions that you might have about your small business and its finances.
In my spare time, when I’m not working or looking after the family, I like to put something back into the community, so I also volunteer as a Governor at Bovingdon Primary Academy.
